Official Description
This bill would require the Police Commissioner to establish procedures for blood alcohol level testing of each uniformed member of the Police Department who, whether on or off duty, discharges a firearm within New York City in a manner that results in physical injury to or death of an individual. The bill would also require the Police Commissioner to include these procedures in the Police Department’s Patrol Guide.
